We are located in Franklin, Texas about 35 miles northeast of Bryan/College Station, Texas. Our puppies are out of AKC breeding stock; however, we only let our puppies go with PET CKC registration. Our females have a schedule where they either go into heat somewhere between 6 months to a year. Each female is different and sets her own time to come into season. We have each female evaluated before breeding for our vet’s approval. We have puppies normally every Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. Please follow our Facebook page and Instagram as well.

We only sell top quality English Cream Miniature Dachshunds. We have spent years and a lot of money to develop our program to produce luxurious, exquisite Longhair English Cream Miniature Dachshunds. Our puppy price is currently $4,500 per puppy for all of our English Cream Miniature Dachshunds regardless of gender or color. Our prices are subject to change at any time. An additional 8.25% sales tax fee is required by Texas state law.

We offer a 6 month health guarantee for all of our puppies if they are seen by your vet within 72 hours from your pick up date. It’s very important for us to also produce healthy dachshunds! If the puppy is found to be unfit for purchase, Crème of the Crop Dachshunds must be notified by the buyer along with a written statement from a licensed veterinarian as to the cause or condition, before any replacement will be made. No refunds will be given and shipping cost will be at the expense of the Buyer. In the event of the death of the puppy, a necropsy must be performed to determine the cause of death. Crème of the Crop Dachshunds will not be responsible for these charges. You can double your health guarantee to a year by purchasing and using the NuVet Plus Immune Support Wafers during your puppy’s first year. Before you can be placed on our Wait List, you must call me at 979-814-0642 to discuss what you’re looking for in a puppy and the living environment for the puppy as part of our approval process. Then, you must place a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit before being placed on our Wait List. We do not refund deposits, pick of the litter fees, or any puppy payments, so make sure that you are serious about purchasing a Creme of the Crop Dachshunds puppy by reading all the information on our website and contract before placing a deposit when approval to purchase has been determined.

You are welcome to see the parents of you puppy in person when you pick up your puppy. We will bring the parents out into their play yard. You are welcome to look at them from the other side of the fence. We do not allow any touching of our dogs for their health and protection nor do we allow any one into their play yard for their safety. Many diseases and parasites are transmitted from the bottom of our feet into the ground where they will remain permanently which exposes our dogs. We strive to keep our dogs and puppies safe and protected at all times. We appreciate your understanding.

We evaluate each puppy to determine when it is ready to go home depending on its progress and development. Most puppies are ready to go home at 9 weeks; however, if a puppy needs more time to develop please be patient on a later delivery date for the health of your puppy.

Puppies are just like newborn babies. They need lots of rest, attention, love, companionship, proper living conditions, and many supplies such as safe toys, feed, fresh water daily, feed/water bowls, training pads, beds, blankets, set up puppy nursery (safety area), and more! Welcome to our Crème of the Crop Family! Our process for our Wait List/Deposits/Pick of the Litter Fees/Payments/Pricing is explained as follows.

Pricing
$4,500 Each - $1,000 Deposit to Reserve. (Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.) Our prices are subject to change at any time. An additional 8.25% sales tax fee is required by Texas state law.

Wait List / Deposits

Once you choose to be placed on our Wait List and are approved for a puppy, we will collect a non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 + 8.25% Texas Sales tax which is deducted from the price of your puppy. Once approved for a puppy, I will explain how to mail your deposit check and completed Puppy Contract along with the process to secure your position on our Wait List. This deposit along with receiving your completed puppy contract secures your position on the Wait List.

I will contact those customers on our wait list when their desired puppy is born. Opting out on an available puppy that fits your gender and color preferences will result in the loss of any deposits, pick of the litter fees, and any puppy payments made. It’s important to remember that after conception, the gestational time period for a dog is 58– 68 days, Then, after birth, they will be nurtured in our home for at least 8 weeks. The entire time from conception to going to their forever homes is around 4 months. This is an exciting time, and a perfect time to prepare your own puppy nursery at home for your puppy. Pick of the Litter
The Pick of the Litter will make their selection first which is a $100 non-refundable fee plus 6.25% Texas Sales Tax that does not go towards the cost of the puppy. Puppies are selected by the dates when deposits were paid from our Wait List. Puppies are picked within the first few days after birth. Once you choose your puppy, we collect ½ of the total price of your puppy at 3 weeks of age and full payment is due in CASH ONLY at puppy pickup.

Payments
You can pay by mailing me a check. If paying by check for the final payment, we must receive your check at least 21 days before your puppy is 8 weeks old. We prefer for the final payment to be made in cash at the time that you pick up your puppy.

We do NOT ship our puppies. Our nearest airport is in College Station, and Austin is two hours from us, Most of our customers fly into Austin, Texas or College Station, Texas. Some of our customers fly into Houston or Dallas. If you fly to pick up your puppy, you will need to rent a car to drive to our home for puppy pick up.

Do not book your flights without first getting approval from me for your pick up date and time due to possible conflicts with other customer pick ups for the same day and time. Also, be sure to purchase flight insurance in case you have to reschedule your flight due to unexpected circ*mstances. We schedule all puppy pick ups during our puppies' 7th week of age not earlier due to each puppy's progress. Be prepared to pick up at 9 weeks of age. Be available for puppy pick ups from 9-10 week of age, so do not plan any vacations or other obligations during these weeks of your puppy's life. If you are unable to be reached to schedule your puppy pick up, we will place your puppy in a new home resulting in the loss of your deposit and any payments made for the puppy.

Your puppy should be your first and most important priority during these two weeks. We recommend keeping your puppy at home and limiting guests until your puppy adjusts to it's new home and family. Try to limit as much stress as possible for a healthy transition from our home to yours.

We have a CONTRACT! Please print the puppy contract from our website, and complete the buyer’s information only! Please leave the seller’s information and puppy information blank as well as the puppy transfer date. After you complete the buyer’s information, please mail the contract and you deposit check to me at the address below. You have one week to mail the original completed contract to us along with your deposit check. You cannot select a puppy until I have received the original contract with the buyer’s information fully completed prior to the birth of the puppies. If we do not receive your completed contract and puppy deposit within two weeks of our phone interview, we remove your information from our records. We only keep a paid Wait List for our puppies.
